Visting Puerto Rico
San Juan Area
There is one place that is on my list for the San Juan area - and that is El Conquistador. Its actually stunning and they have a private beach on Palomino Island.

Rincon
We spent 10 days on the west side of the island and it was incredible. A couple of things - there are a lot of tourists in the Rincon area which means there is also a lot of English speaking restaurants, food vendors, etc.
Where we stayed:
Casa Piedra - Absolutely stunning, clean, felt very safe. There is access to the ocean but there is no actual beach to sit on. Literally sat outside all day/night. There is no TV and honestly we didn't even miss it.
Sea Beach Cottage - This was my second option and honestly was SO CLOSE to booking this. It was recognized by Forbes as one of the best family beach Airbnb's.

Dorado
I love the location of Dorado and how quick you can get to places from this centralized location. You can easily get to a variety of beaches, restaurants, and shopping!
We have stayed at at two different Airbnb's in Dorado and loved them both. Most Airbnb's in Dorado are in gated communities and many offer a private beach.
4 BR Airbnb - Super clean, loved the pool. Every Airbnb that I have stayed at in PR, has had a concierge come and clean the pool.
Villa Coral - Gorgeous and exactly as pictured. The outdoor space is amazing.
Luquillo
Quality time is my love language. I was so happy to be able to host our family in Luquillo in December.
We stayed here and could not recommend it enough for a large gathering. Each bedroom had their own bathroom and of course, spectacular views. Who wouldn't love the convenience of being beach front!
You should add El Yunque National Rainforest to your list while in Luquillo and even drive to Fajardo and private charter a sailboat.
Vega Baja
Vega Baja - home to the best beach in PR (Puerto Nuevo)!
Just like Dorado - this location cannot be beat. You can easily get to a variety of beaches, restaurants and good shopping.
Where we stayed:
Mountain View Retreat - Now, this is not on the beach but its special to me because this is where we got married. Also - if you visit around New Years Eve - you can see fireworks across the island. Its truly incredible.
Oceanfront Beach House - Need I say more? Absolutely stunning, great location.
5BR Oceanfront - We haven't stayed here but have friends that did and highly recommended it.
